A sweet reality that has been making adults and children dream for more than a century
Casa Vergani tells a sweet story whose main protagonists are almonds, honey and sugar. In this ancient dwelling you can still breathe an atmosphere of other times. In the palace overlooking Piazza San Michele began the history of Cremona nougat. In the inner courtyard there was a trapdoor through which the honey was dumped into stone tanks to be processed. From the courtyard you can still see the chimney and the rooms of the cold rooms. During the visit to Casa Vergani, it is possible to touch closely a reality that has been making young and old dream for almost two centuries.
